Aster’s certification to the Environment standard ISO14001, ensures that every level of our business is committed to the prevention of pollution, compliance with legal and other requirements, and to champion continual improvement.
Our staff and subcontractors are inducted and provided with ongoing training into our environmental responsibilities, targets and objectives.
Aster is committed to using environmentally friendly chemicals and partners with Ecolab and ClearChoice who are a long-term pioneers of innovative green technologies and sustainable cleaning solutions. All suppliers are appropriately licensed and insured and contribute to our Green Clean solutions and commitment to cost savings and product performance.
Aster uses microfiber technology for the cleaning of floors and surfaces to efficiently remove dirt and grime. Microfiber attracts and traps dirt and particles which traditional cotton fibre leave behind and as a result provide a superior and more efficient cleaning outcome.

Reporting
Aster’s reporting regime allows us to manage performance over the term of the contract and to provide our clients with an ongoing, updated, and accurate snapshot of contract performance against agreed KPI’s.
Remote access to reporting
Aster’s reports are uploaded to site specific tailored OneDrive files that can be accessed with ease by the Stakeholders of Pacific Waves.
Site inspections and reporting
Aster will perform site inspections which serves to determine any rectification work required. During periodic inspections, a Service Specification Check Sheet is completed which includes all tasks required and agreed KPI’s used to measure service provided.
Executive Committee reporting
A site specific report is produced as required that includes service inspection results, site updates, training, supplier performance, and benchmarking.
Defects, hazards, and maintenance issues
Aster staff are trained to identify and report on any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues as a part of the daily service they provide. This information is then reported via iPhone with photo and email capacity to Aster and Building Management to action.
Safety data sheets
As a part of our QHSE Management System, Aster ensures that all sites have Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used on site. In addition, there is a second copy of SDSs for all chemicals on site located next to the chemicals in the cleaner’s room.
Equipment & Maintenance Log
As a part of our QHSE Management System, Aster ensures that all equipment is appropriately stored and serviced as per manufacturers recommendations. This information is recorded in Aster’s Equipment and Maintenance log, which is audited annually.
